Career History

July - September 2022

Game Development Student

Attended the Unity 3rd Person Combat and Traversal  course by Game Dev.Tv

  • Learned how to implement a State Machine and using abstract classes in C#

  • Learned the framework of creating a combat and locomotion system, from setting up animations and animation transitions, attack, block and dodge mechanics, implementing blend trees and calculating physics.

  • Created a prototype of a 3rd person melee combat game with traversal mechanics such as jumping, climbing and ledge hanging.

  • Experimented with a weather simulation system.

  • Created weapon switching, sequential based combo attacks and input-based combo attacks.

June 2022

Main developer and Designer

Participated on the Game Dev Tv 2022 Game Jam.

  • The task was to create a working game in 10 days with the theme "Death is only the beginning".

    • Created a short 3D 3D platform adventure game where the player takes the role of an Archaeologist exploring the ancient Temple of Eternal Life. There he founds a relic that allows him to travel between the world of the dead and the living, and only by travelling between both worlds can he find all the Death Skulls and gain immortality. In the world of the dead the Player gained the ability to transform into a Skeleton and cast fire spells to protect himself against the other undead creatures.​

March - June 2022

Game Development Student

Attended Online course for Unreal Engine Blueprints by Game Dev.Tv

  • ​Learned the basic Unreal engine interface.

  • Learned how to use BSP brushes to create static meshes.

  • Learned the interface of Blueprints and Unreal's framework and main classes.

  • Created 3 main games:

    • Marble Run: a physics based puzzle game.​

    • Crystal Cavern: a simple 3D platform game

    • Mars Marine: a top down wave shooter

October 2021 - March 2022

  • 💀 Escape the Catacombs
    Created an open world indie FPS/Survival Horror/Adventure 3D game where I implemented several mechanics such as nightfall mechanic, closing wall triggers, personalized textures, environment sound design, weapon design and nonlinear level design.

February 2020 – November 2021

Game Development Student

Attended online course for Complete C# Unity Game Development 3D by Game Dev.TV

  • Specialized in level design. 

  • Created several unique levels for the various games developed during the course, including unique mechanics outside the spectrum of the classes.
     

Created 5 games each in a different genre:

  • 💻 Terminal Hacker
    2D puzzle riddle game set in a spy hacking experience

     

  • 🚀 Project Boost
    3D rocket flying over obstacles game, set in a moody and dark cave with nice sound effects and moving obstacles.

  • 🛸 Operation Starlord
    On rails Space shooter where you fly a spaceship fighting against other alien ships. Came up with an original backstory and went beyond the scope of the lessons setting a main menu scene, two cutscenes, a tutorial and credit scene. Also implemented a new type of laser canon with a unique sound effect and limited by a timer. Created an additional space fight level with asteroid fields.

  • 🏰 Realm Rush
    A tower defence game in a medieval setting with a Voxel style. Created an interesting forest level and made a design for an alternate Sci Fi setting with an interesting backstory “Astron Battlefield”.

     

  • 🧟 Zombie Madhouse
    An FPS action/horror shooter, with several weapon mechanics, a variety of enemies and nonlinear levels.
